    • "Light the Lariat"

The inaugural event of the 150th Anniversary celebration was the "Light the Lariat," the illumination of the historic Lariat Motel sign that has been restored by the Churchill Arts Council. The Oct. 31 ceremony at Oats Park Art Center celebrated the renowned sign's reinstallation at the Oats Park Art Center, where it will be lit whenever an event is taking place at the center.

      In The News:
Here is some great media coverage from the kick off to the Nevada 150 celebration in Fallon on Oct. 31 when we hosted the official re-lighting of the Lariat sign.
